As I begin working this week on initial edits for Bevin and Rich’s wedding last week, I can’t help but have fond memories of a gorgeous wedding venue I had not visited previously. Kittansett Club is located in Marion, Massachusetts between Mattapoisett and Wareham and very close to Cape Cod. While the route traveled off Interstate 195 may seem a bit lengthy, it’s well worth it.
You’ll find the Club at the very end of the road, and as you can see from the pictures posted, it’s a one-of-a-kind and very private setting. The beautiful and spacious grounds sit right on the ocean and from a film and picture perspective, offer so many angles and possibilities. Beyond that, I found the Club overall to be very accommodating. Our weather was a bit questionable prior to the ceremony. The original plan was to have the exchange of vows take place outside, but without cover, the ceremony was moved into an inside area with plenty of room and charm to match. Although the reception itself took place outside the club under a tent, amenities were always close by and the staff was both friendly and attentive. I look forward to posting highlights from Bevin and Rich’s wedding at Kittansett Club in the weeks to come!
